Local Edge Marketing founder and owner Nicole has always had a passion for marketing and the wider communications field. Nicole’s experience spans across much of the communications industry with a particular expertise in the advertising sector. 

Throughout her career, Nicole has worked for some of Australia’s largest media agencies as a media planner, buyer and strategist working on some of Australia’s largest advertising accounts such as Woolworths Supermarkets to name a few. With event planning, public relations and in-house marketing also a part of her professional experience, Nicole has all corners of the communications industry on her professional record.

Over these years, Nicole developed an expertise for local marketing specifically. Her love of small business, dedication to unbeatable client relations, coupled with her passion and talent for marketing, is how Local Edge Marketing was born.

Since early 2016, Local Edge Marketing has helped many local businesses in Western Sydney climb to the top of their industry and become solid, respectable brands that local consumers know, like and trust. Gabriela is passionate about helping SME’s achieve success throughout their brand journey and marketing initiatives. She works hard to understand our clients, their brands and how she can maximise efforts to achieve a higher ROI. Gabriela joined the Local Edge team in 2018 and in early 2022 became a Director of the business.

With a wealth of knowledge in the hair, beauty and fashion industry, she has been across projects and campaigns of all sizes. From local, national to international, Gabriela is able to transform your marketing and skyrocket it to the next level.

With over 8 years industry experience, Gabriela has been known to be an all-rounder. She has the ability to assist you through your Brand Management, Campaign Management, Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Paid Ads Management, Public Relations, Influencer Marketing and Event launches.

Her innovative and creative nature has her continuously producing fresh and unique ideas to suit every individual brand. Gabriela’s eye for detail and understanding of a brief gives her the ability to provide high quality graphic design, as well as bespoke content creation ideas and implementation.

Laura Ross

Social Media Executive

Laura joined the Local Edge Marketing team in June 2021 as our Social Media Executive. Laura has completed a Bachelors in Media and Communications with a major in Marketing. She joined with background knowledge of the hospitality industry, making her a key asset when it comes to food and beverage inspired content and copywriting.  

Laura’s ability to assist the wider team and manage multiple clients has quickly seen her become a key asset to the Local Edge Marketing team. With vast experience in Digital Marketing, Google Advertising, Photography and Content Creation, Laura has effectively and efficiently assisted our clients achieve their business goals through their marketing strategies.  

Her passion and dedication to Local Edge clientele sees Laura become a part of their team, working alongside them day-in and day-out. Throughout her Social Media Management, Graphic Design and Content Creation, she hones in on her creativity to mastermind engaging, value-adding content that inspires audiences.

Lyndsey Lesslie

Media Coordinator | Office Administrator

Lyndsey joined Local Edge Marketing in September 2020 as EA & Media Assistant, recently becoming our Media Coordinator & Office Administrator. Upon joining the agency, Lyndsey previously worked in the photography industry as well as business administration. Nurturing her creative side, Lyndsey has also completed qualifications in Social Media and Graphic Design.

As a highly organised and attention-to-detail driven individual, Lyndsey assists in the smooth-running of the agency at all levels whilst providing strong support to Nicole and business advisors on a day-to-day basis. 

Lyndsey also provides incredibly creative content, detailed data-analysis, EDM management, blog creation and much more. With her thorough, never-missing-a-beat ways and bubbly personality, Lyndsey is very much a crucial component of the agency’s success.
